Per-Diem Paramedic

Port Jefferson Paramedics is continuiously accepting resumes for the position of Per-Diem Paramedic.

Minimum qualifications for considerations to include:

• (3) Yrs Minimum NYS Paramedic
• (2) Yrs NYC 911 Experience or (4) Yrs Hospital Based service
• Current Full Time employment with either a municipal or hospital based ambulance service
• ACLS
• PALS
• CEVO
• Haz-Mat Operations
• NIMS IS-700
• Suffolk Advanced Airway Class
• Suffolk CPAP Class

Employees must be willing to complete:

• Suffolk County ALS Preceptor Class
• IS-100 (within 6 months)
• IS-200 (within 6 months)

Candidates will be required to achieve a passing grade on the following pre-hire exams: General Knowledge, Medical Math, and EKG Interpretation
